Retro-Fit Double Glazing & Sash Window Repairs

Retro-Fit Double Glazing is a system we have developed especially for the owners of older villas and historic homes who want the benefits of double glazing without destroying the appearance and historic integrity of their home.

Our system uses the existing timber frames, with no aluminium or other inserts, and we carefully fit the glass by deepening the rebates. The \"made-to-measure\" sealed double glazed units are fitted in accordance with the manufacturers instructions and come with a 10 year guarantee. External timber battens are used instead of putty to give a more secure finish and even appearance.

We also use imported European draught excluders to reduce draughts and can repair any rot or broken parts so that your windows will look and operate better than ever. This is particularly popular with Sash Windows.
The draught excluders can be fitted to French Door openings, window openings, and Sash Windows.
